Went out for lunch today with Holly to Love Thy Neighbour on Bold Street. We've both been wanting to try a smoothie bowl after seeing them all over Instagram. If you don't know what it is you'll probably recognise it if you have Instagram. It was the big hipster thing going round L.A, Australia & London with the clean eating craze last year.
It's basically a smoothie in a bowl with either granola or porridge oats with fresh fruit, dried fruit & seeds. Super healthy.
Love the interior with the plants in the ceiling.

From a photo they've posted on their Facebook I think the smoothie is made with avocado, spinach, agave, & banana. Granola with raspberries, blueberries, desiccated coconut, chia seeds & berries. They don't have a website yet & don't have a menu on their Facebook page which is annoying.
All the food they do are all super healthy like avocado on toast, poached eggs, smoked salmon, sweet potato wedges, pancakes, Buddha bowls (also a big Instagram craze), vegan cakes, smoothies, fruit juices, healthy teas & coffees. They're open 8am-11pm & even do cocktails.
We both really enjoyed & glad we tried it. We were a bit unsure on whether it was a good idea to both get exactly the same thing as they only have the one smoothie bowl on offer. I would definitely recommend, it was refreshing & filling. We just wished we were having it somewhere a little more exotic rather than a cold, miserable, wet Liverpool.
Moose Coffee has been feature in the The Guardian's The 50 best breakfast places in the UK for the North West. The waffle & pancakes are good as mentioned on my blog here back in October. Love how well all these independent business' are doing. Getting noticed outside of the city. Like I've said before I'd much rather support them then the usual big franchises which are all over the place!
