Haifa

Day 7 - Haifa, Israel

Weather wise this was the best day we got out of the whole 7 days. Loads of people stayed on the boat tanning as it was tan weather. It was like 20°C.

The sun beds were all out and the roof opened to the indoor pool.

We had breakfast then went out to wander around. We were looking for Baha'l gardens which wasn't that far away on the map. The tourist info woman in the cruise terminal said we could get a bus there or you could walk. We walked round for ages in a circle.

Don't know if you can spot the security guard on the left with a big massive gun across his chest... Well I managed to get this photo but when my dad did he come over saying you can't take a photo of this government building. Very strange as it just looks like an office block and you would never know.

Still lost.. We asked a local guy if he knew where the gardens were and he said it wasn't that far and gave us directions. But we still couldn't find it so asked this other guy who said it was really far but gave us directions. No one seemed to know where it was we were trying to use offline Google maps but that only works for driving and not walking and wasn't helping. We then bumped into this English couple who were from our ship who had just been and gave us directions. But the directions they give us were rubbish and we still couldn't find it. We eventually found it and it was so easy to get to don't know why people were giving us such rubbish directions!

It was really nice and free to go in with security guards that check your bags and you're not allowed to each and drink in there. The gates are shut so you can't go up the stairs but you can go up around it. It was such a trek to get up there...

It was so high up. We got there and they said I couldn't go in cos my knees needed covering so ended up wearing my mum's hoodie around to cover up and they let me in.

Starting a new fashion trend.

Was pointless as it was a garden and you can't go in the temple anyway only actual Bahi people can but it's open in the morning from 9am - 12pm anyone to go in and look around.

The closest we could get as there was a security guard stopping people from going in.

After we had to trek back down but we didn't take the stairs we just walked along the normal road.

When we got back to the ship I went to the gym for a bit then we went for dinner. Had sushi for starter but some reason I haven't got a photo but it was rubbish anyway as the rice was horrible.

Which was just about edible.

What even is this?! It was meant to be an orange pancake but just looks like a soggy mess. I didn't even touch it as it looked horrible! Don't even know how they could even serve this.

Mum got risotto but sent it back for the rice wasn't cooked. Then she got fish but it was raw so had to send that back but didn't want anything else but they brought out another one which was alright. The last dinner was definitely the worst dinner.

We went to see the last show of the night where they murdered The Killers -Human if you follow me on Instagram you would have seen it on my story. They were awful they just can't sing. Then we had to pack as we had to leave our cases outside the door so they could be collected.

Last post from our last day at Limassol before the flight home!
