Lucas' Christening

Yesterday was Lucas' christening, my cousin Gary's little boy. He got christened in a church in West Derby then had the reception at the local golf course.

Trench - Blanco - Spain
Dress - Topshop
Necklace - H&M
Heels - Carvela, Kurt Geiger

Tracy was one of the godparents, Kirsty's brother Graeme, Gary's best mate & Kirsty's best mate, made the 4 godparents. I thought you only had 2 a godmother & father but turns out you can have as many as you want. Cara Delevingne has like 12 godparents or something crazy like that!

For once I wasn't actually stressing over my outfit, as once I knew about the christening the first thing that came to mind was my graduation dress. I love this dress but it's too nice to wear for any other occasion, such as town or a meal I think even though it was only from Topshop & paid £32.40 for it I think. I did think at first you had to wear white for a christening but that isn't true!

I didn't manage to get a photo with Lucas as he was either asleep or occupied with someone else. He's a really good little boy haven't heard him cry apart from when my brother held him at the end. Definitely didn't like him! Also me & Tracy didn't get any selfies when we usually do! Lots of missed photo opportunities. Also in the morning I got up late so had to rush getting ready. I had to do my hair myself as well which I hate doing.

I've got 2 exams this week Wednesday Level 2 Anatomy & Thursday Level 2 Physiology and Prince of Exercises, Fitness & Health. Which I'm stressing over. I forgot to book the week off work so went in today but managed to get someone to cover me tomorrow. Just have to try & revise as much as I can, need to pass first time so we can move onto Level 3 Personal Training. It's multiple choice done on the computer so we find out straight after after like a theory test whether we've passed all failed. Need to get 27/40 so hopefully I manage that!

Sorry Not Sorry

Is it too late now to say Sorry?

So obsessed with Justin Bieber - Sorry. I just can't stop listening to it or watch the video! Some of the dance moves are stupid but I still can't do them! Definitely the best song of the year! Purpose is such a good album I really want to see Bieber live. My dad had tickets years ago when he was playing the Echo Arena but no-one would go with me so I didn't end up going :(
I like the post making the rounds Justin Bieber needs to stop dropping banger after banger cos now I'm now a belieber. Always been a Belieber!

My spending has really gotten out of control lately.. Last week I spent £100+ in the space of 3 days it's so bad I need to stop!! I feel like I'm making up for years of being a bad stinge. But I guess I know how to treat myself!

Footlocker were doing 25% again & it happened to come off sale items as well so again I bought a pair or Roshe's & Adidas Boosts! The exact same trainers as last time but in different colours & cheaper. I finally got a pair or black & white Roshe's which I've been after for agesss! I got them for £29.99 with the 25% discount. (£10 off with the discount was £39.99). I also got an Adidas sports bra £7.50 in the sale & discount!

Bike Coat - H&M
Blanket Scarf - New Look
Sweater - Zara
Leather leggings - H&M
Nike Roshe - Footlocker
Leather Satchel - Marks & Spencer

In my last post Trainer Crazy I said Roshe's weren't as comfy as Free Runs, but these black & white ones are really comfy! I'm glad I didn't keep them all black ones as they weren't that comfy. I think they might have changed the design of them which I think is silly, why fix if it ain't broke? These are old stock & I wish they had them in my size last time! But hey I've finally got them now & will be living in them.

I got the Adidas Pure Boost Splatter but in pink as these were the only ones they had on the website. I got 25% off them even though they were in the sale so were only £29.99 when they were £99.99! I still wish I kept the other pair as the colours are so much nicer & I don't like pink but they'll do because they are the comfiest trainers ever & were a bargain so they're going to be my new gym shoes. The ones I have now the lining is all ripped inside & hurting my feet which isn't good!

I also bought 2 dresses from Zara but one of them is going back.

I'm keeping the first one but taking the second one back as it just doesn't look nice on. I've been after day dresses for ages now. Something I can just throw on & just wear a necklace with that will go with or without tights & trainers or boots. It just makes life easier without having to make an actual outfit & saves so much time!

I've finally found my perfect shearling jacket I've been after for years in Zara!! I wish in there the other day & just fell in love. I went to try it on hoping maybe it wasn't nice so then I wouldn't be lusting over it but no I fell in love even more & need it in my life!

(I have these leather pants!)

£70 isn't a lot for a coat but I just can't face paying that right now but I think I will end up giving in & getting it. I don't think I can risk it going in the sale on Boxing Day in case they sell out!

I did see this one on the Topshop website...

There's no way I could spend over £500 on a coat as nice as it is! :( I was saying there needs to be a peasant alternative because really who can afford to splash that much on a coat??

I also bought 2 pairs of gym leggings from the JD Sports online sale but they're both going back as I don't like the fit on them. Good price though 2 for £16.

I want to say I will stop spending but I need something to wear for my work's Christmas meal & night out on the 5th December! I don't have anything I can wear!! Also something for Christmas but if I don't find anything for that I do have something in mind but don't for work's night out.

Dinner Date

Kelly's home for the weekend so we went for dinner at Jalons on Allerton Road. It was nice to catch up considering the 3 of us still live in the same city we haven't seen each other since the last time we seen Kelly or at least as a group. (I see Danielle in work & seen Hannah once.)

We got the 2 course Sunday meal for £10.95. A starter & a main which was a challenge for us to decide what to get. Quite stressful, too much choice couldn't decide between fish or a roast! We all kinda had a rough idea of what we wanted then the girl came to take our order & Danielle randomly decided to get the sea bass we started laughing. The girl must've thought we were really immature but trying to be grown up in a nice 'sophisticated' restaurant.

Slowly braised baby back ribs
in our own bbq sauce

Creamy wild mushroom
Served on a crispy crostini with pesto dressing

Crispy chicken fillets seasoned in sea salt & cracked black pepper
with a sweet chilli dip

Sunday Chicken Roast

Garlic and ginger grilled sea bass
rested on Asian salad with honey and soy dressing

Pan fried chilli salmon
Served with slow roasted Mediterranean vegetables

It was nice but my starter was so much bigger than what I expected (why was I give a bowl for ribs??) & so full after the roast. I wish I did get the fish now but I didn't want us all to order the same thing! I wouldn't mind going again & get the fish next time.

Been a busy lately with college & work. Also on Wednesday I started the Advanced presenting course which is run by Bauer Academy at Radio City. 6 week course running every Wednesday so I go straight to town after college when I finish at 4:30.

The best view of the city

College is going well I'm qualified to give gym inductions! Have exams not this coming week but the week after. Physiology & anatomy and principles of exercises, health & fitness. Kinda stressing about I'd even though it's multiple choice on the computer it's harder than you think even when the answer is there in front of you! So hopefully I pass them both first time and we get to move on to Level 3 Personal Trainer!

Also Julaayy turned 3 years old yesterday! It has gone so quick, crazy how I was in my second year of uni at the time & it's been over a year since I graduated! Still many more years & blogposts to come...
