Went for dinner at Zumuku Sushi on Lark Lane with Holly last night. We booked for 6:45pm which was a smart move as the place is tiny and people couldn't get a seat. They do really well for takeaway deliveries as well as there was constantly a delivery driving come in to pick food up.
Took me a while to decide what to get as the All salmon set I got last time was good but I couldn't get the same thing again. Had to change it up. So I ended up getting the Tokyo rainbow and Buttery Uramakis.
Uramaki Roll - Tokyo Rainbow 10 pieces - £14.95
Prawn, tuna, salmon, mango, cucumber, tobiko
Uramaki Roll - Butterfly 10 pieces - £14.95
Salmon, tuna, avocado, cucumber, teriyaki sauce, Japanese Mayo
Pork Tonkotsu Ramen - £14.50
Fungus mushroom, spring onion, soy egg, Naruto fish cake, black garlic oil, chicken broth
Avocado Nigiri - £6.50
Holly got ramen again and tried the Tonkotsu which she said was better than the Miso she got last time. Said the pork was nice and soft but the noodles could have done with being cooked a little longer.
The sushi is good but they need the change the platters to do a mixed 20 piece set. As the other sets are too big - I probably could eat a 30 set to myself like but that's meant for 2/3 people. Will probably slowly go through the different Uramaki rolls each time I go.
