Tuna Pasta Bake

I made a tuna pasta bake the other day. I loosely followed a recipe as per usual.

250g Fusilli Pasta
A can of tinned tuna in brine
4 tomatoes
Carrots
Peas
100g of hard cheese
Milk

1) Boil pasta

2) Then drain it in the sink with cold water & drain the tin of tuna through the pasta to get the brine to soak through the pasta

3) Put the pasta into an oven proof dish

4) Chopped 4 tomatoes, peeled & chopped carrots & added peas into it

5) A dash of milk so it's not too dry

6) Grated cheese on top

7) Baked in the oven at 200°C for 20 minutes

You can actually bake it with a bechamel sauce using flour, butter & milk. To make that

40g Butter
40g Plain Flour
600ml Milk
100g hard cheese

In a saucepan heat the butter, flour & milk over a medium heat until the mixture is bubbling. Whisking constantly with a balloon whisk until smooth & thick like a roux. Once it's thick enough to coat the back of a smooth grate half of the cheese into the mixture. Season with salt & pepper. Then pour it over the pasta mixture in the pan.
