Ya Nan's Big Quiz

Had early birthday celebrations yesterday as it's my birthday weekend! It's my 25th birthday on Bank Holiday Monday - I am officially old! Quarter of a century, half way to 50... The next box up in the age category.

It started off with work - my team decorated my desk and we've started birthday club so they got me a card, got a speech which made it sound like I was leaving and got £31.50! It's always weird that on your birthday you have to take stuff in - so they wanted Chinese food made by nanny Wing which was never going to happen but instead I slaved away on Thursday night after the gym at 8pm to make them scones! Probably the best I've made which I'm really glad as they all seemed to enjoy them!

After work I went to Ya Nan's Big Quiz & Sing Along at the Camp and Furnace with Holly, Danielle, Sarah and Tracy. It's like Bongo's Bingo but with a quiz! We went to Sarah's for pre drinks then went into town.

Jules and her chicken Wing's!

In between the quiz they had different games - a raffle then higher or lower if you wanted to gamble your prize to win cash. I got to choose the raffle tickets twice but still failed to pick the tickets we had out! Then cash karaoke and blind date!

We had 2 team names Jules and her Chicken Wing's (should've won best team name but Fuck Trump did - fair) and It's a marathon not a sprint

WE WON THE QUIZ!!! WE'RE GOING TO BLACKPOOL!!!

Ya nan shouted winners... It's a marathon not a sprint and I just jumped onto the stage!!! Can't believe we actually won the quiz and we're going to Blackpool!!

It's ya nan!

Sarah knows the 2 DJ's Sean and Nick! People thought it was fixed cos they reserved the table for us at the front in the middle and I got a birthday shout out but we actually did get all the questions right apart from like 3 that we didn't know! Sarah's been before and never won! We won fair and square!!

After we went next door to the Camp and Furnace where the house band played.

Dele Alli challenge

Me and Holly have won 4/5 pub quizzes we have done so it turns out we make a pretty good team but it was all 5 of us that won it!! Tracy left early before it finished cos she was in work this morning so missed us finding out that we won. But we're all going to Blackpool in the next couple of weeks! Sarah's never been to Blackpool before and I've never been to the fair only to see the lights!

Me and Sarah both made it to the gym this morning at 10am we only did 50 minutes of back though we are so tired and she's got work at 3pm but what's a hangover?

Had the best night last night and wining just made it! Had so much fun and definitely need to do it again!! Thanks team and Holly for the macrons love you all maybe turning 25 won't be so bad after all!

Moco Museum

I went to the Moco Museum with my dad when I went to Amsterdam as they had a Banksy exhibition. I'm not into art and really don't know how to appreciate it but Banksy is definitely someone I can appreciate. Not sure what it is about his work but the whole thing of not knowing who he/they really are I think makes him even more interesting. The museum is right by the I Amsterdam sign. Tickets are 13.50€ but if you go before 11am or after 5pm they're 11€.

Banksy - Laugh Now

There are 2 floors of Banksy's work with a lot of familiar pieces. Most of them are on loan to the museum and some that have been rescued from torn down buildings. But it's not an official exhibition that's affiliated by Bansky.

Icy & Sot - A Moment of Clarity

I've not heard of Icy and Sot but they've been called the "Banksy of Iran" as their work are controversial and have been banned.

3D Interior Roy Lichtenstein Room

One of the older exhibitions they had showed the works of Roy Litchenstein

Moco Garden

The Moco garden has a random mix from different artists.

If you like Banksy definitely worth going but even if you don't like him you can still appreciate his work. It's a good museum to visit in Amsterdam like we didn't visit many but this was definitely worth going to.

Some of the photos were taken with my Nikon 1 J2 camera while others were taken with my Samsung Galaxy S7 phone.
