Topshop for Adidas Originals

Topshop & Adidas Originals have collaborated again with a new collection. It's a small collection with only 7 pieces. Also a very expensive one! Then again they have used the word "premium" which must mean you have to pay more for it. I don't understand how companies & brands can exploit the word "premium" to get the consumer to pay more! I'm not into this con! I'm sure it's made from the same materials as "non-premium" items!

Trefoil Tee - £30

I do like the items that are called "premium" but would NEVER pay that much for them! I don't know how Topshop & Adidas can get away with it & why people would actually happily pay the price tag on it. Even if money was not an issue I still couldn't!

Nike X Liberty SS15

Merlin Print

Nike & Liberty London have collaborated again for Spring Summer 15. With an archive print from 1972. Merlin original a silk print produced at Liberty's print works in Merton, South West London, & later at Crayford print works, South East London.

It's a bold print that sits on a white background with brightly coloured geometric shapes,  circles & concentric squares. It makes for the perfect SS print with the bright colours, striking pattern & unusual design.

This collaboration also sees the re-launch of the Air Rift after a 7 year hiatus.

Nike Air Rift - £85

Back after a long hiatus, the Air Rift was originally designed in 1996. Inspired by Kenyan barefoot runners, the Air Rift took its name from the Great Rift Valley and features a stretch mesh, sock-like upper and hidden Air Sole unit in the heel.

Nike Air Max Thea - £90

A contemporary addition to the Air Max family, the Air Max Thea is hybrid mix of Air Max 1 and the minimalist Roshe Run. Featuring a printed mesh upper for ultimate breathability and simplistic Hyperfuse panels, sat atop an EVA midsole with visible AirSole unit.

Inspired by iconic court footwear, the Tennis Classic was first released in 1982 and remains an iconic Nike style. This version features a printed nylon upper and a slimline cupsole.

Nike Cortez - £72

The style that was made infamous in Forrest Gump, the Cortez was first released in 1972, making it the most vintage model in the pack. This streamline silhouette features a nylon printed upper and slim EVA sole.

Nike Air Max 90 Ultra - £110

The modern iteration of the Air Max 90, the Ultra features a slimmer silhouette with a nylon and Hyperfuse upper and lightweight,

flexible sole.

White Merlin Windrunner Jacket - £95

I'm actually going to invest in a pair of these I know I say this all the time but I'm going to treat myself. I'm going to get the Thea's as they're cheaper but I do love the Air Max too!

The Air Max & Cortez were only released on Saturday 2nd May there was a delay for some reason. All are now available to buy on the Liberty London website I've linked them all. They're also available to buy in store in London.

They are now available to buy in Office online & in store!

Healthy Flapjacks

I made healthy flapjacks today!

500g Porridge Oats (this bag is from Home Bargains 49p)
250g Butter (melted in a pan)
250g of mixed fruit & nuts (from Home Bargains £1.69)
170g/6oz of Sugar (preferably brown sugar)
2 Tablespoons of Golden Syrup (optional, put less sugar if you put syrup in, it'll make it sweeter & bind it all together more along with the butter)
Tablespoon of honey

Bake at 200°C for 30 minutes

Melt your butter in a pan then pour & mix it with your porridge oats making sure it all sticks together. Then add your golden syrup if you plan to add it this will help it to stick & your sugar.

Once it's all combined you can add you nuts dried fruit. I've been living off these bags of mixed fruit & nuts lately as it's such a good price for what you get which is actually not doing me any good even though it is healthy it's pretty excessive!

You get pecans, walnuts, almonds, cashews, Brazil nuts, sultanas, raisins & dried cranberries 250g bag for £1.69! Which is really good & you don't get peanuts in it! The nuts aren't salted either.

I also put peanuts & sesame seeds in it. I went a little crazy adding all sorts of stuff into it but you can put any dried fruit or nuts into it.
You can drizzle honey on the top before you put it in the oven

Mine actually didn't work that well as I had too much porridge oats compared to butter & syrup. I put 600g of porridge oats when I should've just used the 1 bag of 500g. It was really crumbly! Also sultanas & dried fruit aren't the best thing to use when baking especially when they're not covered as they do tend to burn! This isn't the best flapjacks I've made I have made better ones. The first time I made it is probably the best batch I've made so don't judge my baking skills on this batch..

This looks more like flapjacks see I can bake!

Recent Purchases

The past month I have spent far too much money which really isn't like me I don't really know what's going on! I need my bank card taken off me! I've decided to treat myself & bought some new clothes.

I bought some new stuff before I went on holiday...

£14.99

£12.99

Marks & Spencer Hello Kitty Pure Cotton Pyjamas (6-16 Years)
£5.99 reduced from £16

Yes I got Hello Kitty kids pyjamas. I got size 11-12 years old. The pants are a bit short but they look like they're meant to be like that & the top is short but don't really plan on wearing it. I love that I'm 21 & can still wear kids clothes!

I also bought some 3 plain kids 11-12 years old Fruit of the Loom (black, white & green) tees from Amazon for £1.70 to cut into crop tops.

I came back from holiday & then spent even more money buying more stuff...

£8 reduced from £40!

£12 reduced from £22

£14.99

Links of London Friendship Bracelet John Lewis
£70 reduced from £140

The last 3 things are actually things I've been wanting for a while now. The Topshop top I wasn't willing to pay £22 for so waited for it to go in the sale, the New Look top was sold out & came back in stock & the Links of London bracelet it probably the best buy out of them all as I've been wanting one for years. It was reduced to £70 I think it was £140. I had £40 worth of vouchers so only paid £30 for it! Which is so good considering they're now over £100. When I first wanted one they were £70. This was reduced as they the colour has been discontinued.

I'm currently on the hunt for a pair of everyday trainers but I can't seem to find any I like! I'm after a black & white pair that isn't suede preferably. But even without narrowing it down to b&w I still can't find a nice pair. Shops are a bit rubbish at the moment. I'm also after a jacket that isn't my leather jacket as that's the only thing I wear when it gets warmer! I do want a nice duster jacket but that was kinda last season before Christmas... & a good pair of ripped jeans!

Adidas Pure Boost Splatter - Foot Locker £99

I've found these that I want after seeing Gypsyone Jenah Yamamato post them but couldn't find them so thought they were customised but Foot Locker have them. Sadly they're well over my budget! :(
