Liberty Tavern

I went to the Liberty Tavern tonight for Suzanne's leaving meal. She left before Christmas but people weren't free before then so we ended up doing it tonight. We went to the Liberty Tavern which is only up the road from mine next to the Elephant pub. We were meant to be going to the Elephant but they wouldn't let us book a table then wouldn't let a group of 9 in. I met up with them at half 7 as I wasn't eating, only to show my face & have a drink. I only ended up having an orange juice as I was driving. (Yes it's only a 10/15 min walk but I decided to drive. This is what happens when you have the luxury of a car, get super lazy).

Considering it's only up the road from mine this is the first time I've been, I did used to be called the Bubble & never went to it then. It's expensive for food & drink which is probably why I've never been but I do want to try the £50 steak & lobster to share.

2015

2015 was always going to be a bit of a come down for me as 2014 was such a good year. There wasn't any expectations of it to be a good year either so at least it wasn't a disappointment is all I can say. Well I guess I can't say it was all bad I did get to go to London twice for the day for free, I went to Crete for a week, was part of the world record cat walk at the Albert Dock, did 2 radio courses at Radio City & went to college to become a personal trainer. I guess they're the only highlights. But it's been a very expensive year, with my spending getting a little out of hand! 

I nearly forgot I was on BBC TV! I was on the Sunday Politics Show North West on Mother's Day. 

It was also a year where I decided I'd pretty much agree to everything. Whenever someone asked me to go out & do something I did say yes but then I still don't think I had much of a social life sadly.

Of the stuff I did buy on Christmas night I didn't keep it all so I guess I'm not killing myself over it now. From the Zara order I've kept the leather jacket, the blazer (given it to my mum) & still undecided on the high neck dress. I've sent the Aztec backpack back from Asos as it was horrible & I think I'm keeping the Mi Pac. 

All day there's been the boring old "happy new year to all my loved ones, new year new me, had a great year bring on the next, blah blah blah" etc. Just not into posting all that all over social media I mean you can text all you loved ones happy new year you don't need to do it over Facebook? I guess I'm just not in the best of moods as all my friends are being bores & won't go out with me tonight which is why I've got the time to write this post, I should be out somewhere drunk. But I'm not, great start to the new year!

2016 is already matching up to be even more expensive as 2015 as I'm being insured on my mum's new electric car. I'm going to Vietnam to see my mum's cousin's she's never met before then China for 2 & a bit weeks and Hong Kong for a few days with my mum as my granddad isn't very well & he's having an 80th birthday party. Which means I can't be splashing the cash on clothes, think I'm just going to leave that for when I'm in China. Hopefully more holidays & travels as well.

I'm going to be a fully qualified personal trainer which means my career can start & have a full time job too.

Driving Home for Christmas

Reunited with this bunch for Christmas! Traditional pub gathering before Christmas with Kelly & David home from London. I missed out on the cinema trip before though as I was in work till 10 so only stayed for an hour in the pub. 

I have failed at Christmas I actually haven't bought any presents apart from a scarf for my nan... Not lying. Sorry if you were expecting a present off me! You can have something in the sales..

Yes I got Hello Kitty kids pyjamas. I got size 11-12 years old. The pants are a bit short but they look like they're meant to be like that & the top is short but don't really plan on wearing it. I love that I'm 21 & can still wear kids clothes!

I also bought some 3 plain kids 11-12 years old Fruit of the Loom (black, white & green) tees from Amazon for £1.70 to cut into crop tops.

The last 3 things are actually things I've been wanting for a while now. The Topshop top I wasn't willing to pay £22 for so waited for it to go in the sale, the New Look top was sold out & came back in stock & the Links of London bracelet it probably the best buy out of them all as I've been wanting one for years. It was reduced to £70 I think it was £140. I had £40 worth of vouchers so only paid £30 for it! Which is so good considering they're now over £100. When I first wanted one they were £70. This was reduced as they the colour has been discontinued.

I'm currently on the hunt for a pair of everyday trainers but I can't seem to find any I like! I'm after a black & white pair that isn't suede preferably. But even without narrowing it down to b&w I still can't find a nice pair. Shops are a bit rubbish at the moment. I'm also after a jacket that isn't my leather jacket as that's the only thing I wear when it gets warmer! I do want a nice duster jacket but that was kinda last season before Christmas... & a good pair of ripped jeans!

HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY TO JULAAYY!

JULAAYY is officially 2 years old today! I actually missed the milestone for it's first birthday last year as I was probably really stressed with uni work & working a lot so never got the chance to even realise! But I made sure I wasn't going to forget it this year even though I had planned a better post but I was called into work last minute so only got the chance to do a post now! 

It's been a strange 2 years since this blog started a lot has changed & happened within the time. It's been so quick as well. I actually remember going out that day to the Albert Dock to get them photos taken with Danielle & thinking up of what to write for it. I do regret not starting it a lot sooner than I did but I'm glad I did eventually start it! 

I'm hoping that you've grown with me & that my blog has grown & got better over the past 2 years as I was younger back then, not as wise either. Looking back I'm already cringing & questioning myself from just a couple of months back never mind last year. I wish I did a screen print of how my blog looked as well when it first started but I sadly don't! So I hope it hasn't been too bad... & that you will stick with me. Thank you for following me & reading about my ramblings as you will know by now I like to talk A LOT! It can only get better I guess!

I'M GRADUATING 2 WEEKS TOMORROW!

I woke up to some amazing news this morning when I checked my phone.. I opened an email from uni to say I will be graduating from the University of Liverpool with a 2:2 BA Hons in Sociology on Tuesday 15th July 2014!!

I am so happy that after 3 years of hell, blood, sweat & plenty plenty of tears I did it & HAVE A DEGREE!! 

For those who have been keeping up with my blog will have seen all the moaning & stress that occurred & that it hasn't been easy! I am gutted seeing pretty much everyone else on my course & from my uni getting 2:1 & even 1st but I'm happy with what I've achieved especially getting 65 on an essay I seriously thought I was going to fail, meaning I'd fail my degree. So knowing that has made me happy!

I went to town with my mum had lunch in John Lewis and was looking for something to wear fro Gary's wedding party on Sunday. I ended up getting this nice shade of green skirt for only £9 reduced from £42 & this bag for also £9 reduced from £36! Bargain & thank you student discount! They happen to be my two favourite colours green & orange!

Hello it's been a while! I did eventually get all my essays done in time! I didn't leave the house for 8 days I was an actual herm going insane! All I did was sit in front of this laptop alllll day & night staying up till like 4:30am to get them done in time. I was so ill as I was so stressed, headache, eyes burning, feeling sick, covered in spots, couldn't get out of bed you name it I probably had it for the 2 weeks! I just couldn't wait to get rid of them!! I'm really hoping to finish with a 2:1 but after that hell of just wanting to get them done & out the way it's pretty unlikely... But at least they're done now & I can't do nothing about them apart from really trying harder this semester & not to leave stuff so last minute as I have 2 4,000 essays to do this time as well as most of my dissertation probably as I didn't have time to do anything over the Christmas break & my tutor didn't even send me my feedback to do till afterwards when I emailed him!

Uni aside as I still have another 3 days off I've been living in the gym going everyday since last Tuesday! Well I didn't go Sunday or today I went to YO! Sushi will Danielle to the Blue January offer which actually finishes tomorrow. I haven't seen Danielle since last Monday but that was only as we handed our essays in & that was it, she had a family meal to go to. We were meant to be away somewhere out of the country right now, from Sunday till tomorrow but that didn't happen sadly as we couldn't find somewhere within our budget or some place good for so last minute! I wish I was brave enough to get the plane on my own & stay in the apartment on my own, I could be in Spain by myself now! 

I finally got myself a checked/tartan print scarf from the Urban Outfitters sale! It's a men's scarf but I'm not sure what guy would wear it... & It's quite short I think! It was only £4.50 which student discount & as it was my first order I got free delivery! But annoyingly the week after I got it they were doing an extra 20% off sale items which I missed out but ah well £4.50 is still a bargain from £18!

I finally watched Peter Pan for the first time ever yesterday, I didn't actually know what it was about till I was 15 which is funny because I'm just like him, I never want to grow up! I also watched Tangled the night before which I'm turning into Chinese Rapunzel with this hair... A few people have asked if it's real which I get slightly offended with as it is 100% all real which I grew myself! It's not that hard! I just watched Toy Story 3 recorded from Christmas before which was quite sad!

Gym again in the morning then to Danielle's house party to celebrate everyone else's exams & essays being handed in. It's been a while since I've had a good party! Also I got myself a new phone, which I got on New Years Eve but only started using it on Monday cos of my contract. It's the newer version of the one I did have the LG Nexus 4 so my photos look better! :)

So another year has passed with another Christmas. It felt like last Christmas only last week time is going far too fast for my liking! :( 

This year I got a lot of bath stuff when I don't even take baths & surprisingly not stuff I recognised as I thought they'd be from my work which they weren't! If I'm being honest my Christmas presents are never that good.

We went to Nanny Wing's as usual for Christmas lunch at 1. Frodo & Bella fighting & humping each other so they weren't allowed to be together while we were eating but then Bella kept crying to they were annoying each other under the dinner table. We left my nan's at 4:30 came home to drop Frodo off then went to my aunties (mum's older sister) who live in Northwich. 

Everyone's getting old now! My oldest cousin on my dad's side is getting married in June & my oldest on my mum's side is a dad! He has a little boy named Alex who is half Chinese & half Thai as his girlfriend is Thai. He's really cute. He didn't cry at all while we were there & loves attention! 

We left at 12:15 as I had work this morning 12-6:30. Mum gave me a lift in though as buses were running every half an hour. Surprisingly it wasn't that busy but apparently it was before I went in. The shop was a mess though all the Christmas gifts & most of the perfume sets were half price. Back in tomorrow then going to the pub in the night to say bye to Kelly & David as she's going to New York for New Years how jealous?! & David is going back to London!

You can tell by the quality of the photos which were taken on my phone & which were taken on my camera!
