China Travels Part 3 - Wuxi & Jinxi Ancient Town
Part 3 of my China travels from way back in April. We got taken to this place that sells jade where they give you big talk about how they find them etc & get to you try & buy some stuff off them before you leave. Some of the jade was really expensive & they gave us all one that looks like a polo. They say it's real but really how do we know it is? After there we got taken to a place that sells silk scarves & bedding. Again to get you to spend more money. They had designer scarves like Burberry & Gucci are they even real?
Within the same building upstairs there was a restaurant. These tours that you go on pretty much take you to the same places to get you to buy stuff as they get commission if you do.

We went I think it's called Wuxi Turtle Head Isle. With it being a Chinese tour I don't actually have a clue what any of these places are called in English & it's been that long I can't even remember what they're called Chinese. This will teach me not to have a back log of blogposts!
The weather wasn't great, was quite cold & very cloudy.
We got to go on a little boat tour of the ancient town of Jinxi.
We had a little old lady who was driving the boat is that what you call it? She was singing along the way as well. It was so funny.
We got dropped off at the other end of the river & had to walk back.
Not sure what these are but they're some sort of sweet dessert.

We just made it back to the coach before it started to pour down. We then drove to this old film studios that had a restaurant for our dinner.
