Toronto Tourists

Did you even go to Toronto if you never went to see the Toronto sign in the day and night?

This is from the day we did everything - zoo, aquarium and CN tower! Between getting back from the zoo and going to the CN tower later on in the day me and Tracy wondered around to have lunch and to get a Taiyaki ice cream on the way back to the apartment we went to Nathan Phillips Square where the 3D Toronto sign is.

We seen this cool piece of art in front of the Mayberry Fine Art Gallery of Vincent Van Gogh which is a piece done by an artist called Joe Fafard where he recently had an exhibit there.

Nathan Phillips Square

Look at the second O..

There was a Filipino festival on with all different stalls and we think a talent competition or show with different kids and adults singing and dancing. The one's we stayed and watched were actually really good.

This was cool don't know how he did it.

On the way back from Red Lobster walking back to the apartment we went back to the Toronto sign with Chris.

Look at the N... See if you can spot Chris. He managed to climb it but said it was so flimsy and shaky. I might have been able to climb the R but didn't want to risk it after the Ottawa sign...

Looks so nice at night and the sign changes colours.

Canada's Wonderland

On the penultimate day of the holiday we finally went to Wonderland theme park. Karen very kindly bought us tickets with the drinks package. (Thanks again Karen!) We got fast passes as it was so busy which cost us $101.70 (£65) which was the best decision we made and I'd say an investment as we were flying on every ride. The queues for all the rides were so long. We wouldn't have got on anything if we didn't get them. Probably would have got on about 2 rides but we managed to go on all the big rides and some other random rides we wanted to go on. It's a really big theme park and was really good.

They really don't care if you take a photo as in Blackpool and Alton Towers it was like you were committing some crime they'd flip at you.

Not idea what the people in front of us were doing...??

It was such a good day out but tiring as the park is really big. We watched a Chinese acrobatics show as well.

When we left we popped over to Vaughan Mills outlet just to have a look around but when we got there all the shops were closing and the stuff was rubbish.
The Nike outlet was the worst shop I've ever been in. The shop was a mess - trainers and boxes all over the place. Basically just walked straight back out as it was stressing me out.

Me and Tracy got some food at a Chinese restaurant and the waiter serving us was so rude that we didn't end up leaving a tip.

Food wasn't even that nice either.

After we went to pick Nanny Wing up as she came down with Auntie Kitty and uncle as they were visiting Toronto anyway and it meant she didn't get dragged round doing everything we wanted to do. She got to spend the last day with us which was chilled anyway before we flew home.

I promise there's only one more post from Canada from the last day! I have been dragging this out for nearly 4 months and it does make me sad writing these posts at how much I'm ready for another holiday. Also people seem to think I'm in Canada now if they're only just following me on Instagram or just catch the odd posts. But nope I've been back for months now just slowly blogging about!
