Catch up with Holly to Bean There Coffee Shop which is on the corner of Allerton Road where it meets Penny Lane a couple of doors down from Leaf. Just a little (actually pretty big inside) independent coffee shop which also happens to be on the independent Liverpool card.
Matcha Latte - not as good as the one I had in Leaf.
We both got the Super Food Salad - Avocado, beetroot, cucumber, mixed leaves, sunflower seeds, sweet potato, feta cheese. I got mine with smoked salmon which I thought would have been an actual piece of salmon (no feta) and Holly got chicken.
It was nice and filling but didn't like the bowl it came in would have preferred a bigger bowl and wasn't fussed over the mixed salad leaves.
The coffee shop was nice and cosy. It wasn't too busy and you could just sit there and talk. We won't see each other till after Christmas now as I'm going on a cruise on Wednesday. Start off at Limassol in Cyprus then go to Turkey - Alanya and Marmaris, Crete, day at sea then Israel - Ashdod for Bethlehem and Jerusalem. (Randomest places and currently struggling on what to pack as the weather isn't look great!) When I get back Holly is going to Prague then it's Christmas Eve! So it will have to be that awkward in between week where you don't know what day it is between Christmas and New Year. Looking forward to having a break and my first cruise experience and seeing places that aren't the first places I'd plan on going to for a holiday!
