Banana Yellow

It's been a while since I've done a proper fashion related post with all the events that have happened this year! It's been a pretty busy & eventful year so far to say the least with hopefully more to come to share with you all!

I'm loving all things yellow this summer to go with this amazing weather we're having! It definitely is the right colour to go with it. This time last year I would say I wasn't a fan but this year I don't know what's changed but I really want a yellow dress!

I seen this on tumblr & have no idea where it's from which is really annoying when it comes to tumblr. People always posts nice clothes, shoes, bags etc but don't say where they're from which is so annoying!! I think there should be a rule if you posted an item on tumblr you need to state where it's from.. Anyone else with me with this rule??

H&M Sleeveless Dress £29.99 reduced to £17

I really like the style of this dress & was after it for a while but they didn't sell it in the Liverpool stores which is annoying. They only had the teal & navy one. It's now in the sale & sold out online!

Topshop

Pleated Mini Dress £38

This is a nice summer dress to wear but is a bit pricey at £38 from Topshop even with student discount £34.20 is a bit much for what it is!

Daisy Embroidery Midi Skirt £70

So I thought £38 was much for a dress but £63 (£70) for a skirt?! Ridiculously over priced I know the daisies are embroidered on but still no way would I pay that much for this skirt! It is nice though!

Cara Crop Jacket £55

I'm loving blazers lately but it's way too hot to be needing a jacket at the moment, that's how hot it actually is in England! It's a bit chilly at night but still don't really need a blazer just a thin jacket will do to cover the shoulders!

I don't really know why Topshop are selling jumpers because you must be crazy if you're wearing a jumper out in this amazing weather. You will be sweating buckets! Yet again it is an overpriced item of clothing from Topshop.

Love these yellow crotchet shorts, they're just simple & can be worn with anything !

Before you click on the link these are actually little boys shorts from Zara! But they're exactly the type of runner shorts I want! I think 13-14 years will fit me right even though I'm turning 21 next month?

Zara have other nice yellow things, dress & jackets which they haven't got online but I seen in the Manchester store when I went last week. The Liverpool one is STILL closed, it's been closed for 2 months now which is so annoying & surely losing so much money, it needs to hurry up with the refurbishments!

Other stores such as H&M, Forever 21, Miss Selfridge & New Look have other nice yellow things which they don't have online so go in store & have a look round!

Forever 21

I'm in love with this 2 piece from Forever 21 - Passport to Paradise which I seen on their website! But you can't get it from the UK which is so annoying!! You can only get it from America & the American site but also what is just as annoying is my cousin said she seen it in store when we were in Florida but I didn't!! If I had seen it I'd definitely would have bought it. I don't know why they show this as part of the Lookbook on the UK site when you can't see it because it's just torture being able to see it but not buy it. I hate when shops do that. H&M do it all the time in their catalogue & posters. Why show advertise it if you can't buy it?!

Pretty much all the high street shops are also selling pineapple printed stuff but these are just some of the pieces I've found online, so have a shop around to see what pieces you like!

Last night was Hannah's 21st "birthday" night out. Her birthday is actually next Thursday but I go away on Saturday to Florida for 2 weeks for my cousin's wedding. The wedding is actually on her birthday 12th June! Kelly is also going to Paris for a few days for her uni friend's 21st so this was the only day the 4 of us could get together for a night out.

We went to Danielle's uni house for pre-drinks then went to town but everywhere was dead. (I've never been out on a Tuesday & now I know why) We went to the Bierkeller which is an Authentic German Bavarian Bar. It usually has different events like when sports are on, they have pool tables, big screens. Me & Hannah shared a stein cocktail, Danielle & Kelly shared 2. They were meant to be £9 but a friend from school works there & got us discount for £6 which was good. At first it was nice & just tasted like j2o & you couldn't taste the alcohol really but then we were getting kicked out so we had to down them! Kelly actually downed like 2 pints in seconds surprised she wasn't sick!

Then went to go to Aloha which had about 3 tables of people so we went to the Peacock. Kelly knows one of the guys who works at the bar who gave her 2 free drinks. At this point I was feeling quite sick. I am the biggest light weight ever & my hangover kicks in straight away my head was sore & felt if I had another drink I would have threw up, whilst also nearly falling asleep which meant it was home time. We got a taxi back at like 1:15 to Danielle's but Hannah stayed & went straight home. We skyped Kelly's American friend but I ended going to bed before them while they stayed up & had a take-away delivered.

I hoped to go to they gym this morning, I had all my clothes & stuff with me but I just didn't have the energy to get up. Got the bus home instead. I'm going to see the Lion King tonight at the Empire theatre with Danielle & Gabby which I'm so excited to go see since my whole childhood was Lion King. I had like everything, you name it I had it & probably still do! 

The week where I have plans happens to be the same as the one I go away which is slightly annoying because all my nice going out clothes are being saved for my holiday which is why I had to borrow a top off Danielle which is typical but I can't complain!

Slightly Obsessed...

1) Mango from Asos - £30 reduced to £9 15% discount £7.65

It's save to say I have a slight obsession when it comes to chain necklaces as you can see from my collection... (Yes I go attach them back to the packaging. Also apologies for the crap photos, it was a distraction from doing my dissertation!)

A bought the Mango necklace the other day when I should have been doing work but seen that Asos were doing a further 15% off sale items so I thought I'd have a look & treat myself. I couldn't resist the fact it was a chain layered necklace & it was reduced to £9 from £30 which is a bargain!! But I've just found out that it was 22,99€ which is £18.92. I wish I could go to Spain & just raid Mango & Zara since it's so much cheaper there!!

I also got a wool biker coat from Warehouse which was £40.80 (£48) reduced from £120. But I sent it straight back this morning once I tried it on. I got a 6 & 8 cos I didn't know what size I was. Tried the 6 & it was massive! Don't even think a 4 would have fit me so didn't bother with the 8. Packed it back in the box & took it straight to the collect+ newsagent! It wasn't that nice either, looks nicer online than in person.

You will have seen the other 3 necklaces on nearly every post as I just wear them with everything especially my Forever 21 gold chain which was such a bargain for £3.90!! I got it a couple of years ago from the Birmingham one, I don't think they sell it any more.

The Topshop one is the biggest bargain out of the 4. As I've said before it's actually meant to be braces but I took the other clip off as it was beginning to come off & I didn't fit well as braces so decided to wear it as a layered necklace instead.

Pull & Bear was the first out of the collection which is about a good 4/5 years old now. I'd been looking for a layered chain necklace for ages which wasn't that expensive & finally found this one. They've all had their fair usage & probably made no difference if I did pay full price for them as I've worn them so many times!!

Green Jumper - Forever 21

This isn't an outfit post which explains the leggins as I was wearing jeans today but when I come home I like to change into leggins as they're comfier & wanted some photos so couldn't be bother changing back into them! I told you I'd live in this jumper & I have since I bought it wearing it nearly everyday!! It's so comfy & warm. 

As you can see I'm a like a magpie to anything green. I'm starting to think I'm colour blind to every colour apart from green...

I was in Marks & Spencer with my mum & she actually spotted this satchel which is real leather! It's meant to be £79 but got reduced to £41.99. I was deciding for ages whether to get it or not & my mum was saying it's hard to match but I wear green all the time so it's not hard at all for me! It's perfect for uni to fit my notebook in & with it being real leather it'll last even though I'm in my last 6 weeks of uni!!! 

I also got a Rosie for Autograph bra for only £6.99 reduced from £25! I'm not one for fancy underwear but I thought this was a good buy considering how much it's meant to be!

I really need to sort my priorities out as I'm spending more time in the gym than I am in uni or doing uni work!! But the gym is so much better than uni work... But I am badly running out of time so need to sort it out! Also did anyone watch the Oscars last night? I didn't/haven't watched it but from all the photos & articles it sounds like it was the best one! Minus the fact they clearly hate Leo!

Also it's less than 2 weeks now till my uncle's wedding & still don't have anything to wear!! I want a nice long dress preferably in green (yes I'm obsessed) but any colour other than black or pink is fine but I can't seem to find a nice one anywhere! I wish I was taller as well to wear a long dress! :(

Well every day...

It's been a while mainly because the weather's been rubbish with the storms & cold weather meaning I've been wearing the same stuff just jumpers! Also going to the gym which is nothing interesting at all! 

Jumper - Forever 21

Highwaisted Jeans - Tophop

I bought myself a new green jumper from Forever 21 on Monday as I had a £12 gift voucher I needed to use by today. The one here in Liverpool is massive! (Not as big as the Birmingham Bull Ring one but still big enough) 3 floors I just don't know where to look when I go in! I didn't know what to get I've been in a couple of times & it's been rubbish but I'm like a magpie when it comes to anything green.. I'm just attracted to it & want it! I will defiantly be living in this jumper it's so warm & comfy!!

I got an outfit for the wedding party I'm going to on Saturday, Kelly's cousin who's invited me & Danielle to go. I wanted to wear a suit, black cigarette pants & blazer but the pants just looked weird on me. They might have looked better if I had heels to try them on with but I just didn't think it worked. I ended up getting a floral play suit from Oh My Love in Topshop. I did want this green skirt & blazer (obviously it was green) but the jacket was in the sale so the smallest size was a 6 which was too big & the skirt was in the last chance to buy in a 6 but wasn't in the sale which was weird.

Brit Awards 2014

So it was the annual Brit Awards last night at the o2 Arena. I forgot to do a prediction post! But I did pretty well last night & predicted most of the winners! I should've put some money down but don't think I would have got much since they were the favourites! This year with all the performers they put on where to make for up for how boring & rubbish last year was. It was not memorable at all. This years wasn't the best but it's up there. I loved Arctic Monkey's opening with R U Mine & my favourite was Bastimental! How good was the mash up of Pompeii & Waiting All Night?! One of the best mash ups ever!

British Video - One Direction - Best Song Ever This was voted during the show via twitter. You had to #BRITs then the name of the act you wanted to win. I wanted Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding for I Need Your Love as I'm obsessed with it! But obviously 1D were gonna win for tweets!

International Female Solo - Lorde (I thought Katy Perry)

International Male Solo - Bruno Mars (I predicted right)

International Group - Daft Punk (I predicted right)

MasterCard British Album of the Year - Arctic Monkeys - AM (I predicted right & well deserved! If you haven't heard it where have you been??)

One Direction also won the Global Success Award again which is an award that was made for them which they also got last year.
