So another year has passed with another Christmas. It felt like last Christmas only last week time is going far too fast for my liking! :( 

This year I got a lot of bath stuff when I don't even take baths & surprisingly not stuff I recognised as I thought they'd be from my work which they weren't! If I'm being honest my Christmas presents are never that good.

We went to Nanny Wing's as usual for Christmas lunch at 1. Frodo & Bella fighting & humping each other so they weren't allowed to be together while we were eating but then Bella kept crying to they were annoying each other under the dinner table. We left my nan's at 4:30 came home to drop Frodo off then went to my aunties (mum's older sister) who live in Northwich. 

Everyone's getting old now! My oldest cousin on my dad's side is getting married in June & my oldest on my mum's side is a dad! He has a little boy named Alex who is half Chinese & half Thai as his girlfriend is Thai. He's really cute. He didn't cry at all while we were there & loves attention! 

We left at 12:15 as I had work this morning 12-6:30. Mum gave me a lift in though as buses were running every half an hour. Surprisingly it wasn't that busy but apparently it was before I went in. The shop was a mess though all the Christmas gifts & most of the perfume sets were half price. Back in tomorrow then going to the pub in the night to say bye to Kelly & David as she's going to New York for New Years how jealous?! & David is going back to London!

You can tell by the quality of the photos which were taken on my phone & which were taken on my camera!

Reunited!

Denim Shirt - Levi's from Oxfam

Last night we were finally reunited with Kelly after 4 months of being in uni in America & David who's down in London for uni! It was really nice to see the both of them! Think the last time I seen David was when he came back for easter cos I couldn't see him the last time he came back to Liverpool & he chose to stay there over summer. But it felt like we hadn't been apart & was just the same! We just had loads to talk about & catch up on which each other's lives. 

We got onto the topic of getting married & having kids which was really scary as everyone knows I really don't want to grow up at all! I still look & feel about 15 I'm not ready for the future just yet!

I finished work for Christmas today at 4 then have the next 2 days off. Back in Boxing Day straight till I find out if they want to keep me or not! I feel like I'm in limbo having no idea whether this time next week I could be back to being unemployed after 5 months.

Holly's 21st

Tea Party

It was Holly's 21st birthday on Wednesday (18th a week before Christmas) where she stretched it out as long as she could as she's been doing stuff all week to celebrate it & yesterday it was our turn to celebrate with her, her friends! We went to her house to have a tea party! All the fancy crockery, napkins & table cloth are actually her nan's! (Apart from the strange shaped teapot that says tea for two, that's actually Holly's)

She made turkey & cranberry, ham & cucumber, cheese & tomato sandwiches, added berries to the fruit salad which had the biggest pieces of fruit ever! Cheese & tomato pizza, bbq chicken pizza, scones, cupcakes birthday cake, costco carrot cake my favourite! She had clotted cream, strawberry, cherry, raspberry & blackcurrant jam to go with the scones. It was all really cute & nice. Me & Gabby were early as my mum dropped us off on her way to work. We were gonna wait for Rosie to come before we ate but we were too hungry so started without her! Then Toni came later on. We then went to the Abbey pub for some drinks where Holly's boyfriend Joe, his friend & Rosie's boyfriend went too. 

These were the only photos I took with my phone which are really rubbish! I'm in need of a new phone! I had to rush to get ready too as I went the gym earlier on then came back to have a shower, wash my hair & had to make Holly's birthday card which I was still writing in her house! I did leave it very last minute but I had her presents! I got her the turtle Pandora charm which I also have for mine & £20 Harvey Nichols Beauty Bazaar vouchers. 

I was in work today, tomorrow & Monday then off for 2 days then in straight till I find out whether they decide to keep me on or not which I hope they do but I don't have my hopes up in case they don't. But obviously I do want it cos I can do with the money! Tomorrow night going for food as I finally get to see Kelly after 4 months as she's back for Christmas from America!

Christmas Shopping...

Well sort of...

I attempted to do some "Christmas shopping" & do some Christmas/new years/new wardrobe clothe shopping too as I actually had a day off work today & I finished uni last Tuesday! I was quite brave venturing into town with all the other crazy last minute people.

I'm rubbish at buying presents I just don't know what to buy for people well I kinda do have some sort of an idea of what I want to buy but they don't always exist & unlikely to have the budget for it either! Same with me wanting new clothes. I have the same issue every year unable to find Christmas clothes as all the clothes are rubbish!

The first shop I went to was Miss Selfridge which is under Topshop was rubbish so went up to Topshop which was also rubbish but there was some stuff I thought I'd try on then make my mind up but they didn't seem to have anything in my size left! I tried this woven pleated skirt peter pan collar dress on but it's £70!! It's a big on me as it's a size S which is a US 4-6 I need an XS. It's something different but handwash only which I'm not fan of!

Then went to H&M, on the way out I spotted this black leather skirt that had a 50% sticker on it in my size!! I touched it & realised straight away it was real leather! So went straight to the changing room to try it on. It was £34.99 reduced from £69.99 which is a bargain since most shops like Topshop/River Island have faux leather skirts for that price! I've been wanting a leather skirt for ages as well & of course wanted a real one but could never afford one!

I went to all the usual shops Urban, Zara, Pull & Bear, RI, New Look, Internacionale & couldn't find a nice top I could wear my leather skirt with (I know I can wear anything but there just wasn't anything that I liked!) I seen nice shirts but my shirt collection really doesn't need to be added too! 

I want a nice fluffy jumper, H&M had 2 but they were grey & navy. I want something more colourful! & no-where else had any nice ones :(

I got Holly's birthday presents so that's one less stress but only have of Kelly's Christmas present! She falls into the I know what I want to get her but can't find anything that matches it...

I signed up to John Lewis' free membership card & they send me vouchers to have free cake & tea/coffee! So I got a slice of carrot cake & a cup of tea to give my poor feet a little rest after the long day of wandering around. I then had to get the bus back & get changed super quick & sprinted half way to the gym to try make it in time to pilate's! I was shattered when I got there!

I didn't realise till before that my skirt has a horrible hole & mark from where the security tag was! I should've noticed it earlier, I would have asked to get another 10% off it but now I don't know what to do, as it was the last one & I do love it! Just have to take it in tomorrow & see what they say!

I'm in work for 2 days, then off for Holly's birthday celebrations, in 3 days & see Kelly on Sunday as she's back from America! Off Eve & Christmas day then in everyday! Hopefully work keep me on but I won't find out till the week after Christmas if I do. I'm not expecting too much just in case they do even though I should be no1 choice being the first temp & I got the bus all the way home yesterday with my manger after a gruelling 9.5 12-9:30pm shift! It actually wasn't as bad as I was expecting as he's really camp & nice, think he's 23 since he's just graduated as well but I'll keep you updated!
