2015

2015 was always going to be a bit of a come down for me as 2014 was such a good year. There wasn't any expectations of it to be a good year either so at least it wasn't a disappointment is all I can say. Well I guess I can't say it was all bad I did get to go to London twice for the day for free, I went to Crete for a week, was part of the world record cat walk at the Albert Dock, did 2 radio courses at Radio City & went to college to become a personal trainer. I guess they're the only highlights. But it's been a very expensive year, with my spending getting a little out of hand!

I nearly forgot I was on BBC TV! I was on the Sunday Politics Show North West on Mother's Day.

It was also a year where I decided I'd pretty much agree to everything. Whenever someone asked me to go out & do something I did say yes but then I still don't think I had much of a social life sadly.

Of the stuff I did buy on Christmas night I didn't keep it all so I guess I'm not killing myself over it now. From the Zara order I've kept the leather jacket, the blazer (given it to my mum) & still undecided on the high neck dress. I've sent the Aztec backpack back from Asos as it was horrible & I think I'm keeping the Mi Pac.

All day there's been the boring old "happy new year to all my loved ones, new year new me, had a great year bring on the next, blah blah blah" etc. Just not into posting all that all over social media I mean you can text all you loved ones happy new year you don't need to do it over Facebook? I guess I'm just not in the best of moods as all my friends are being bores & won't go out with me tonight which is why I've got the time to write this post, I should be out somewhere drunk. But I'm not, great start to the new year!

2016 is already matching up to be even more expensive as 2015 as I'm being insured on my mum's new electric car. I'm going to Vietnam to see my mum's cousin's she's never met before then China for 2 & a bit weeks and Hong Kong for a few days with my mum as my granddad isn't very well & he's having an 80th birthday party. Which means I can't be splashing the cash on clothes, think I'm just going to leave that for when I'm in China. Hopefully more holidays & travels as well.

I'm going to be a fully qualified personal trainer which means my career can start & have a full time job too.

See you all next year!

Poppies Weeping Window

Today I finally went to see the Poppies Weeping Window at St George's Hall with Holly. It's been there since the 7th November & goes in 2 weeks time on the 17th January. I've been wanting to go for ages even though I've been to town loads within that time I've just not been down there. I wanted to get photos of it in the daylight but also in the dark when it's lit up.

Some of the photos were taken on my Nikon 1 J2 camera while others were taken from my Samsung Galaxy S5 phone. Selfies were taken on Holly's iPhone 6.

Hat - New Look
Shearling Aviator Jacket - Topshop
Bag - Zara
Leather Look Leggings - H&M
Timberland Boots - John Lewis

Holly was underwhelmed by them as the photos other people have posted does make them look bigger than what they are but they still look so good. There's not as many as when they were at the Tower of London but then there's no way they could move all them around on tour in different cities.

Before they came to Liverpool they were at Woodhorn Museum Northumberland (12th September - 1st November). At the moment they're also at Yorkshire Sculpture Park (5th September - 10th January). Which I didn't know until I wrote this post I thought we were special & was the only place! They seem to be at other places for a lot longer than we've had them. But the face they've come to Liverpool I'm happy. I really appreciate & love stuff like this that happen in my home city. I really am like a proper tourist. I can't help it!

If you want to find out more about poppies you can herehttp://www.1418now.org.uk/commissions/poppies/.

Being tourists inside St George's Hall.

Tallest Christmas tree in the UK at Liverpool One. 30 metres tall, 280 heart lights. Doesn't really look like a tree...

700,000 Legp brick reindeer sleigh & Father Christmas

Church Street Christmas Tree

Had a nice day being a tourist with Holly. We got into town at 2ish then wandered around till it was dark at like 4:30pm so we could take photos of the poppies in day light & when it was dark. The lighting wasn't grey cos it's was horrible day today. Luckily it didn't rain while we were out (umbrellas were a pain to carry around especially for photos!) but it was pouring down in the morning with Storm Frank!

Christmas Sales

I was looking forward to the Zara sale more than opening my presents that were under the Christmas tree. I guess I just know how to treat myself better than anyone else could. I thought the sale started at 12am but it actually started at 10pm on Christmas Day. I just happened to have been on my laptop at that time & picked up some bargains!

Flounce Dress - £9.99 (£15.99)

The first jacket I've only got cos of the price of it. I don't even know if I'm going to like it but I've finally got myself a real leather jacket! I'm hoping all this comes before New Year so I can wear them.

Mi-Pac Classic Backpack in Purple - £11.50 (£19.99)

I bought myself a back pack for college. I bought both as I couldn't decide which one I liked & needed to make up the price to get free delivery.

I spent £145.75 in the space of an hour, that's 22 hours worth of work just gone! I know my mum is going to slaughter me when these arrive but oh well it's my own money I guess & I can't say anyone bought me any decent presents so I had to make up for it myself! Just hoping my Zara are nice & I like them, but with it being Zara the chance are high that I will like them. I did want to get the Adidas boost trainers I posted about in my Christmas WishList but I decided to leave them for now...
