Baby Shower

Yesterday I went to my first baby shower! I've never been to one wasn't really sure what one was, only ever heard of them in films it's a very American thing. Devin in work is having a little girl next month & we were all invited to her baby shower at Osqa bar in town.

Baby bottle shots of jager

Guess the 'poo' (Melted chocolate bars in nappies)

Me & Danielle got there around half 6, when it started at 5. I don't think we missed much though. We played different games, I had to wrap toilet roll around Danielle to make a nappy. We clearly had the best but was robbed of winning & came second. I got blind folded then got fed baby food & had to guess what it was, who could down the shot of jager in a baby bottle the quickest, guess the 'poo' which was melted chocolate in a nappy. Then we were meant to play pin the dummy on the baby but that never happened. It was fun & really nice night.

It was nice to see Lillie too who came home for the weekend from uni just for it. Sadly I didn't get a photo with any of the other girls from work, only Danielle & Lillie.

Golf Club

Today me & Danielle went to Woolton Golf Club as Kelly invited us to a family party they were having there as her dad is the captain. It was more of a family gathering that party.

I say I like a lot of things but never end up buying it because it's too expensive & would rather wait for the sale & then either forget it's gone in the sale or it's sold out in my size. I fell in love with this skirt when I seen it on the mannequin in Zara in Rome but as much as I loved it couldn't pay £40 for it. It went on sale for £30 & I was like no it'll definitely go down more & I'll wait for it to go down more. I ended pay £15.99 for it but I knew it'd go down even more as there was still loads of sizes left. I ended rebuying it for £9.99 which is a bargain!  I also found out it has pockets as well which makes me love it even more but you need to unpick the seems!

Elliot is a bit of a nightmare child, he was so hyperactive & crazy. I'm not great with kids as it is then had to deal with this...

Love love love weddings!

Last night me & Danielle were invited to Kelly's cousin Graham & Kerry's wedding party. I love weddings even though I don't want to get married myself they're just nice to go to.
Kelly came back all the way from America just to be at this wedding this weekend! Kerry looked so pretty & managed to stay in her dress all night! She looks a bit like Emma Stone I think.

It was a really nice night and venue at the Suits Hotel in Knowsley. We were like the baby sitters for the night looking after Kelly's 2nd cousin Graham's baby Elliot. Everyone in the room knew who he was but he chose to come & sit with us & spent the night playing on Danielle's phone until he fell asleep at like 12. He is so cute & Danielle is now unbelievably broody! Me & Kelly are predicting she might have her own soon..
There was a "buffet" which turned out to be chips with either a bacon or sausage butty which I thought was really strange but apparently quite common now. The wedding cake & cupcakes (carrot cake) were made by Kelly's Aunty Lyn (Graham the groom's mum) & she is an amazing baker, her cakes are so nice!

I was unsure on the playsuit at first, it's the first playsuit I've bought & was a bit of a nightmare trying to go the toilet & wearing a necklace! Which is why I've stayed away from them.

Won't see Kelly until Easter now (unless we go out tonight) & she'll be 21! So for her birthday I'm going to be sending her some stuff in the past gradually towards it & get her something for keep when she's back.

Before we got to the party me & Danielle got the bus to Huyton & sat in McDonalds then got a taxi there as it was cheaper to do this. While we were waiting for our taxi we got harassed by 14 year olds that didn't believe we were 20 so Danielle got her ID out to prove it to them. They were asking for our names, where we were going, where we were from, my BBM pin. I didn't say anything to them but Danielle did & I don't have BBM. At first they said they were 17 & Danielle was like as if, 16 as then said they were 14. Thinking they were dead hard smoking & stuff outside McDonalds so funny.

Can't wait for my Uncle's wedding now on the 16th March! I haven't got anything for it yet but I do know how I want my hair but just need someone to do it for me...

I hate ice

I just want to say I'm sorry it's been a while! I've just been really busy working & uni & basically not having any nice new outfits to post about or have anything social due to being in work all the days I'm off uni or I'm at the gym!

So tonight for the first time in agessss I actually had a social life! Went ice skating which is part of the Liverpool One Ice Festival which has been going for a couple of years now up on Chavasse Park & went to Nando's for food for Sarah from uni's 21st.

I seriously wasted £7.95 going ice skating as I was being a proper whimp! I couldn't let go of the side I think I can kinda skate but I'm just too scared to fall over! It didn't help that the ice was really wet & slippy, with people whizzing round showing off as well. I hated it & don't think I'll be going again it was like my 4th time doing it as well! We then went to Nando's after the 45 min ice torture session! I don't see the hype over Nando's.. To me it's just chicken? I guess maybe cos I don't like spicy food but still I think they're better & nicer food!

I'm a bit sad as you'll know I really really want a pair of Timberland boots! So when I seen on facebook that the Timberland shop in Metquarter had 30% off I pretty much ran there after my 4-5 lecture to try get myself a pair! But sadly they didn't have any junior 5.5 or 6s in & couldn't even order me any to be delivered to my house!! I kinda felt like crying but the guy was so nice & helpful! I want junior as they're half the price for the exact same boot which are comfier the guy said so there's no point paying double the price when I can get them cheap!
I also like the reddish brown pair which they sadly don't do in junior size but I don't mind the original wheat coloured ones. Maybe it's just not meant to be as I've been wanting a pair for yearssss & still don't own a pair :'( The sad thing is that the 30% was from Thursday till today which is why they've sold out which I knew earlier!!
